Sachithra Senanayake, the off-spinner, who was banned from internationals due to his action being deemed illegal, has found a place in Sri Lanka's 30-man probables squad for ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. He underwent a test on his bowling action a few weeks ago. So, Sri Lanka will know if they can pick the off-spinner in the final squad of 15, only after the test results are announced.

The 23-year-old off-spinner, Ramith Rambukwella, known for his ability to generate top-spin has also been included in Sri Lanka's 30-man squad. Ramukella, who played a T20I game against New Zealand last year, is also a handy batsman.
Chaturanga de Silva, another promising all-rounder, has been given a chance as well. Chaturanga has been in fine form for Moors Sports Club in domestic cricket this season. He bowls slow left-arm orthodox and bats in the middle/lower-order.
Angelo Mathews as expected has been named as the captain. Tillakaratne Dilshan, Lasith Malinga, Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardene are some of the key players in the unit. Sri Lanka will hope for Malinga to comeback to full fitness after being troubled by a knee injury.
