Less than 24 hours after two of the Islamabad United players - Sharjeel Khan and Khalid Latif - were suspended for alleged fixing in the ongoing second edition of Pakistan Super League, reports emerged that pacer Mohammad Irfan too faces suspension for similar allegations. However, the PSL chief Najam Sethi cleared the air saying that the left-arm bowler has been 'questioned but will continue to play' in the league.
