The Achimota Oval at Accra witnessed one of the greatest updates in T20 Internationals on Monday (March 18) as 38th-ranked Nigeria snatched a last-ball win over a depleted Namibian side at the ongoing African Games. This result dealt a critical blow to Namibia's hopes of direct qualification for the 2026 T20 World Cup.

Nigeria captain Sylvester Okpe sealed a famous comeback victory with a booming six over extra cover on the final ball of the 20th over, slamming a hip-high full toss from Shaun Fouche out of the ground to complete what, by ICC T20I rating, was the most extraordinary upset in the history of the format.
