Superb outfield and a batting track - Hashim Amla and Quinton de Kock will revel on this wicket. Bhuvneshwar and Mohit have already conceded three fours between them in an over each. It's going to be an energy-sapping day for the hosts in the field. Will be interesting to see how soon Dhoni brings a spinner on.

2015-16 Scorecard

Centuries from Quinton de Kock (109 off 87 balls), Faf du Plessis (133 off 115 balls) and AB de Villiers (119 off 61 balls) has powered South Africa to an exceptional team total of 438 for four. Absolutely sensational batting from the visitors, who carted 20 sixes! India bowlers suffered their worst day on the field as Bhuvneshwar Kumar finished with figures of 1-106, Mohit Sharma with 1-84 off seven overs and Harbhajan 1-70 off 10 overs.

De Villiers and Du Plessis added 164 runs off 102 balls for the third wicket.

Oh dear! Suresh Raina is gone! He looked to move across and guide the ball down the leg side but he moved too far across and was late to bring the bat down. Rabada's delivery was an inch-perfect yorker on the leg-stump and it crashed into the base of it. India 172 for four in 25 overs.

Ajinkya Rahane is gone! Curtains for India, if it wasn't down already! Rahane went after Steyn but hit it straight to Farhaan Behardien at deep mid-wicket. He walks back for a superb 87 off 58 balls.
