It was a walk in the park for the two-time champs. Delhi started really well and then imploded to collapse to their seventh sub-100 total. Russell and Hogg, three wickets apiece, ran riot amongst the Delhi batsmen, whose daredevilry led to their downfall. This was a Kolkata surface that aided bounce and took turn. Once Kolkata had restricted their opposition to 98, there was no coming back. Gautam Gambhir and Robin Uthappa added 69 for the the first wicket to all but confirm the result. Kolkata join Pune at the top of the table with 2 points. That's it from us today. Here's hoping for a closer contest tomorrow when Gujarat Lions taken on the Kings XI Punjab.
